Zatarain’s Frozen Meals Freebie!

{Giveaway is Closed}

Happy Saturday, friends!

If there’s anything that gets my attention, it’s free food. You’d think as much as I like to eat that I might weigh a lot more, but really I do love good food.  Most of the time, I prefer my food to be fresh ingredients, cooked at home with simple fare and tasty herbs.  But, sometimes as we all know, time gets in the way and you just have to take shortcuts some days in order to get something in that tummy.

I don’t buy a lot of frozen meals, but have been known to get by on these when there is just no time to cook.  The fine folks at Zatarain’s recently sent me some freebie coupons to try out their new frozen entrees.  You know they are known for tasty dishes and spicy Cajun flavor and these meals don’t disappoint. Heat and eat, can’t get any easier than that!

I popped into my local Publix to see what they had and picked up 3 different varieties (some I got more than one) and these are the ones that looked good to me and my taste buds.

I’ve already tried the Chicken Alfredo and the Chicken with Yellow Rice and both were equally tasty.  Zatarain’s is known for their flavorful foods and these live up to the spicy, tasty standards that you normally think of when you hear the name Zatarain’s.

So, they gave me 5 extra freebie coupons, valued at around $3 each ($15) to give to one of my readers!  If you’d like to try out 5 free frozen Zatarain’s meals for yourself, just leave a comment and tell me what you like about Zatarain’s products.

{Note: I received no monetary compensation for this post, only free coupons.}

That’s it!  I’ll choose a winner in a few days and mail out your coupons to you.

    I often use the Zatarain’s box rice products to accompany our weeknight meals — love their products, and I have been cooking with them for years. It’s something I always have in the pantry.

    I have tried some of their rice mixes. I would give these a try for when I am in a rush and don’t have time to cook from scratch.

    I haven’t tried any of their frozen meals but I have bought several of their packaged meals. I love them because I can fix them up quickly, throw a little smoked sausage and I have a great meal.

    Hello,
    I have never tried them before, but they look delicious.
    Rice is one of my favorites, especially with all the yummy spices it can take. So many great ways to eat it.
    Thanks for the chance to win!

    I haven’t tried the frozen yet. We love the dry mixes, especially the Creole Chicken and Rice. You add cooked chicken, a can of diced tomatoes and water. After we fell in love with this one, our store quit carrying it. I have been known to order a case, directly from the company. It was even cheaper by the case. About time to order again.

    I have a few boxes of their products in my cupboards, even as I write this. The Spanish rice mix is my go to mix when I want a fast meal. I add drained and rinsed black beans and mushrooms and some cooked chicken or fish to the cooked mix and have my own casserole dish. I had no idea they had a frozen food line and I would very much like to try their products. Quick and tasty works for me and I always like it when someone else does the cooking. Got my fingers crossed!
