The Winner is: #18 Linda
Did you hear the big news?
Annie Sloan is here in the U.S. and is making her way around the country, teaching workshops on how to use her famous Annie Sloan chalk paint in her first ever North American tour! As a new user of Annie Sloan chalk paint, I can tell you I have really enjoyed using it on furniture. So far, I’ve painted curtain rods and my sister’s orange craft table (which I’ll be sharing the finale of later this week). The paint is great and I love working with it. Especially now that I’ve got the wax part down pat.
I have been hearing she is coming to Atlanta and it sounded like an exciting event. It’s an all day event next week (from 8:30 to 5:00 pm), on March 29th, down in Peachtree City, just south of Atlanta. Tickets include breakfast and lunch and all the workshop materials.
There is still time to sign up for the workshop if you are in Georgia or any surrounding areas. I know it’s going to be so much fun!
Are you ready for the excitement?!
I can hardly wait to tell you this one!
Annie Sloan Unfolded, the international distributor for Annie Sloan Chalk paint and Robyn Story Designs, one of the premier Annie Sloan stockists in Florida (who will be helping teach the workshop), is giving away a fabulous prize package that you are going to be over the moon excited about!
OK…..I am about to die because I’m getting a free ticket to attend the workshop here in Atlanta AND get this….
One of YOU will get a ticket too!
What is up for grabs? Everything in the picture above including 2 quarts of Annie Sloan paint, clear and dark wax, brushes, those beautiful knobs, colorcharts, gilding wax AND MORE!
Can you still enter even if you can’t come to the Atlanta workshop? YES, you can! IF the initial winner drawn can come to the workshop, they will get the prize package AND the free ticket to the workshop.
If that person cannot come to the workshop, I’ll draw another winner for the ticket giveaway only. Does that make sense?? I promise, it will be fair to all!
Here’s how you can win, leave a comment for each one:
- Leave a comment on this post and tell me IF you can attend the workshop here in Atlanta on March 29th and WHY you are so excited about going to the Annie Sloan workshop?
- Go and visit Robyn’s blog, look at the Annie Sloan paint colors and tell me which one you are dying to try?
That’s it! I’ll leave the comments open through the weekend and choose a winner late Saturday evening.
Check out Annie Sloan Unfolded for the retailer nearest you!

YES, I could attend the workshop. I live in Roswell/E. Cobb and would jump at the chance to attend the Annie Sloan workshop. I’ve had it on my calendar even though it’s not in our budget. I have many pieces I’d love to try ASCP on. I’ve researched every site and blog with info and just haven’t jumped in yet. This would be the perfect opportunity! I love so many of the colors but old white, coco and old ochre are high on my list. Thanks for the chance Rhonda, would love to meet you too!
I can go to the workshop and I’d love to try lots of the colors, but I’d try duck egg blue first.
I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to attend the workshop! I live about an hour outside of ATL. We’re moving in the next couple of months and I have a garage full of furniture I’ve gotten for free from Craigslist and FreeCycle that are in need of some TLC and Annie Sloan chalk paint. I hear them calling my name when I’m sleeping at night. 🙂
Sadly, I cannot attend. I’m having out of town guests.
As for which color I’d use? They’re all so beautiful! Antibes Green, Graphite, Paloma, Provence, and Scandinavian Pink are all accent colors I’m thinking of for different rooms in our new house.
My daughter is going for a “shabby chic” look in her bedroom. We’ve already painted the walls a very soft pink and we need to paint her bed and dresser. She would love the chalk paint finish, probably in Old White.
I cannot attend the workshop in Peachtree (much to my dismay), but would love to be entered into the paint giveaway. We just bought an older house here in Colorado and I’ve been busy collecting thrifty treasures to furnish it. I’m dying to try Annie Sloan. I love the Abusson Blue.
Thanks so much for this fabulous opportunity! I live in North Atlanta and would be thrilled to go to the workshop! I’m anxious to try Antibes Green on a sideboard in my kitchen. Love your blog:)
I can’t attend the workshop but I’d love the other prizes. Working on some furniture pieces for my soon to be teen son and this would be great!
Hi Rhoda,
I can attend the workshop–I’m a Birmingham gal that knows well the route to Atlanta! Thanks for the opportunity to win a ticket and what a bonus–supplies! I’ve been an Annie Sloan fan for years–wanted to try the chalk paint but could not decide on a project until I read your blog re: Nadeau. The green/brown/gold side table inspired my thoughts: Now I have a tiny table that’s just crying out for Arles & Antibes Green!
oops–in my excitement–I did not follow directions to post two comments–so the paint (well, the two) I want to try is/are Arles and Antibes Green. Thanks again for this super giveaway!
I can’t attend the Atlanta conference 🙁 but I would love for someone else to get to attend if you choose me!
I am dying to use Duck Egg Blue 🙂
I can’t attend the Atlanta workshop.
I’ve never tried AS chalk paint. I have an old dresser that I would love to try Versailles on.
Yes, i will be attending the conference, and I hope to see you there!
I went to Robyn’s website and I’d love to try the Scandinavian Pink color.
This is super exciting! I live in Atlanta and would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to go! Just to see Annie work her magic would be the delight for me. She is incredibly talented and I know there is so much to learn from her.
Thanks so much for offering this great giveaway!
I just visited Robyn’s blog and really want to try all of the colors… that would be really fun! The one I really want to try is French Linen. Thanks so much for the chance!
i LOVE annie sloan chalk paint ….ooooooo, i hope i win – what an exciting event to be able to attend…thanks for offering, cute rhoda ! HUGS !
