The Winner is:  #18 Linda

Did you hear the big news?

Annie_Sloan_Tour_Banner

Annie Sloan is here in the U.S. and is making her way around the country, teaching workshops on how to use her famous Annie Sloan chalk paint in her first ever North American tour!  As a new user of Annie Sloan chalk paint, I can tell you I have really enjoyed using it on furniture.  So far, I’ve painted curtain rods and my sister’s orange craft table (which I’ll be sharing the finale of later this week).  The paint is great and I love working with it. Especially now that I’ve got the wax part down pat.

I have been hearing she is coming to Atlanta and it sounded like an exciting event.  It’s an all day event next week (from 8:30 to 5:00 pm), on March 29th, down in Peachtree City, just south of Atlanta.  Tickets include breakfast and lunch and all the workshop materials.

There is still time to sign up for the workshop if you are in Georgia or any surrounding areas.  I know it’s going to be so much fun!

Are you ready for the excitement?!

I can hardly wait to tell you this one!

Annie Sloan Unfolded, the international distributor for Annie Sloan Chalk paint and Robyn Story Designs, one of the premier Annie Sloan stockists in Florida (who will be helping teach the workshop), is giving away a fabulous prize package that you are going to be over the moon excited about!

OK…..I am about to die because I’m getting a free ticket to attend the workshop here in Atlanta AND get this….

One of YOU will get a ticket too!

What is up for grabs?  Everything in the picture above including 2 quarts of Annie Sloan paint, clear and dark wax, brushes, those beautiful knobs, colorcharts, gilding wax AND MORE!

Can you still enter even if you can’t come to the Atlanta workshop?  YES, you can!  IF the initial winner drawn can come to the workshop, they will get the prize package AND the free ticket to the workshop.

If that person cannot come to the workshop, I’ll draw another winner for the ticket giveaway only.  Does that make sense??  I promise, it will be fair to all!

Here’s how you can win, leave a comment for each one:

  1. Leave a comment on this post and tell me IF you can attend the workshop here in Atlanta on March 29th and WHY you are so excited about going to the Annie Sloan workshop?
  2. Go and visit Robyn’s blog, look at the Annie Sloan paint colors and tell me which one you are dying to try?

That’s it!  I’ll leave the comments open through the weekend and choose a winner late Saturday evening.

Check out Annie Sloan Unfolded for the retailer nearest you!

I am in the Atlanta area so I could actually attend the workshop! I have been wanting to try using this paint either Paris Grey or Old White, but it would depend what piece of furniture I decide to paint 🙂

Hi! I would love to win your prize package! I am a new ASCP user as well, and have completed several projects with it already, as I get ready to fill my first booth at Classic Cottage – a homegoods consignment shop in Watkinsville, GA. The paint is so easy to use and the wax treatments are the perfect finish! I would love to attend the workshop with Annie, in Atlanta! As for color I am dying to use? Hmmm…ALL OF THEM!!!! 😀

Oh what an awesome giveaway! I have been dying to try this paint. I can’t attend the workshop. 🙁
But I would lurrrvvveeee to try the Pure White, or the Paris Gray, or maybe the French Linen, even though the Provence looks good as well. Oh the Antoinette would be so nice as well. Too many good choices.

Thank you, for such an awesome giveaway.

How fun! I think I could attend. Don’t know if you realize it, but you put ‘March 29th’ in the number 1 about leaving a comment if you can attend. I believe you meant to write June 29th (not trying to be critical, just thought you might want to change it)

I like Aubusson blue, Duck Egg and Napoleonic Blue. Also think Paris Gray is a good shade.

Hi Rhoda! I’ve been wanting to try Annie’s paint! I redeem furniture in Brevard NC and would love to use it on my pieces. I CAN make it to the workshop in Atlanta next week 🙂 So hard to choose from all the beautiful colors, but if I had to choose, Duck Egg Blue and Cream!

    Hello Rhoda,
I would love to attend the workshop. I just recieved my online order of French Linen for a desk I would like to paint. I had never heard of the paint before finding your blog and was inspired by your redo on your sister’s table. Next color on my wishlist is the Old White. Thanks so much for the chance to win!!

Rhoda I am so excited about this amazing package!! I would love to meet Annie. I have been using some of the paints and am so pleased with them. ( will be posting some projects soon)

The next color I want to try is Provence. I have a small chest with a zillion tiny drawers and would use the dark wax with the Provence on it.

    xoxo

Even though I live in GA, I wouldn’t be able to attend the seminar. It sounds like a good one though!
