The Winner is:  #18 Linda

Did you hear the big news?

Annie_Sloan_Tour_Banner

Annie Sloan is here in the U.S. and is making her way around the country, teaching workshops on how to use her famous Annie Sloan chalk paint in her first ever North American tour!  As a new user of Annie Sloan chalk paint, I can tell you I have really enjoyed using it on furniture.  So far, I’ve painted curtain rods and my sister’s orange craft table (which I’ll be sharing the finale of later this week).  The paint is great and I love working with it. Especially now that I’ve got the wax part down pat.

I have been hearing she is coming to Atlanta and it sounded like an exciting event.  It’s an all day event next week (from 8:30 to 5:00 pm), on March 29th, down in Peachtree City, just south of Atlanta.  Tickets include breakfast and lunch and all the workshop materials.

There is still time to sign up for the workshop if you are in Georgia or any surrounding areas.  I know it’s going to be so much fun!

Are you ready for the excitement?!

I can hardly wait to tell you this one!

Annie Sloan Unfolded, the international distributor for Annie Sloan Chalk paint and Robyn Story Designs, one of the premier Annie Sloan stockists in Florida (who will be helping teach the workshop), is giving away a fabulous prize package that you are going to be over the moon excited about!

OK…..I am about to die because I’m getting a free ticket to attend the workshop here in Atlanta AND get this….

One of YOU will get a ticket too!

What is up for grabs?  Everything in the picture above including 2 quarts of Annie Sloan paint, clear and dark wax, brushes, those beautiful knobs, colorcharts, gilding wax AND MORE!

Can you still enter even if you can’t come to the Atlanta workshop?  YES, you can!  IF the initial winner drawn can come to the workshop, they will get the prize package AND the free ticket to the workshop.

If that person cannot come to the workshop, I’ll draw another winner for the ticket giveaway only.  Does that make sense??  I promise, it will be fair to all!

Here’s how you can win, leave a comment for each one:

  1. Leave a comment on this post and tell me IF you can attend the workshop here in Atlanta on March 29th and WHY you are so excited about going to the Annie Sloan workshop?
  2. Go and visit Robyn’s blog, look at the Annie Sloan paint colors and tell me which one you are dying to try?

That’s it!  I’ll leave the comments open through the weekend and choose a winner late Saturday evening.

Check out Annie Sloan Unfolded for the retailer nearest you!

I would love to be able to go the workshop next week end, but I have a long scheduled girl’s week end set for that time. I am new to CP and absolutely LOVE it but have not been able to obtain any Annie Sloan CP. Paris Grey and Versailles are two colors that I would like to have. I would love to have the supplies to be able to try new techniques in my dining room redo.

All the colors are so pretty but I’d like to try cream or old ochre.

Yes! I could absolutely go to the workshop if I won the ticket 🙂 I am new to revamping furniture and have fallen in love with it. There is something so wonderful about striping, sanding, buffing, priming, and painting. It makes me feel connected to me 🙂

I’ve been looking around my house and realized I need/want to add more color…Chateau Grey? Arles? Or Duck Egg Blue? Oh My! So many decisions! I can’t wait to try them all!

I love the Paris Grey chalk paint color. I am redecorating a bedroom that has this amazing view of Pikes peak! This is the color that the mountain turns for much of the day. It’s a shade of “purple mountains majesty” . I have a chest that will be sitting by the window that is begging for a chalk paint treatment in this color.
I would not be able to attend the workshop in Atlanta so if I won the paint there would two people made very happy with this give away.

Yes, I can attend the ASP workshop. I have my parent’s french style dining room chairs that I would like to refinish using Versailles. Thank you.

My favorite is the Aubusson Blue – I have a china hutch in my dinning room that is in desperate need of some color. I would not be able to attend the conference, but thanks for the giveaway.

As for the 2nd try, I really like the look of Emile & Paris Grey. I think they would layer rather well for my studio/office space that I am just now designing out of the room left when my last daughter moved out.
