The Winner is:  #18 Linda

Did you hear the big news?

Annie_Sloan_Tour_Banner

Annie Sloan is here in the U.S. and is making her way around the country, teaching workshops on how to use her famous Annie Sloan chalk paint in her first ever North American tour!  As a new user of Annie Sloan chalk paint, I can tell you I have really enjoyed using it on furniture.  So far, I’ve painted curtain rods and my sister’s orange craft table (which I’ll be sharing the finale of later this week).  The paint is great and I love working with it. Especially now that I’ve got the wax part down pat.

I have been hearing she is coming to Atlanta and it sounded like an exciting event.  It’s an all day event next week (from 8:30 to 5:00 pm), on March 29th, down in Peachtree City, just south of Atlanta.  Tickets include breakfast and lunch and all the workshop materials.

There is still time to sign up for the workshop if you are in Georgia or any surrounding areas.  I know it’s going to be so much fun!

Are you ready for the excitement?!

I can hardly wait to tell you this one!

Annie Sloan Unfolded, the international distributor for Annie Sloan Chalk paint and Robyn Story Designs, one of the premier Annie Sloan stockists in Florida (who will be helping teach the workshop), is giving away a fabulous prize package that you are going to be over the moon excited about!

OK…..I am about to die because I’m getting a free ticket to attend the workshop here in Atlanta AND get this….

One of YOU will get a ticket too!

What is up for grabs?  Everything in the picture above including 2 quarts of Annie Sloan paint, clear and dark wax, brushes, those beautiful knobs, colorcharts, gilding wax AND MORE!

Can you still enter even if you can’t come to the Atlanta workshop?  YES, you can!  IF the initial winner drawn can come to the workshop, they will get the prize package AND the free ticket to the workshop.

If that person cannot come to the workshop, I’ll draw another winner for the ticket giveaway only.  Does that make sense??  I promise, it will be fair to all!

Here’s how you can win, leave a comment for each one:

  1. Leave a comment on this post and tell me IF you can attend the workshop here in Atlanta on March 29th and WHY you are so excited about going to the Annie Sloan workshop?
  2. Go and visit Robyn’s blog, look at the Annie Sloan paint colors and tell me which one you are dying to try?

That’s it!  I’ll leave the comments open through the weekend and choose a winner late Saturday evening.

Check out Annie Sloan Unfolded for the retailer nearest you!

It’s so hard to choose one color because I’ve been wanting to try several, but I’ll go with French Linen. I need two chests to flank my fireplace, and I think French Linen would look lovely in that spot. Thanks for the giveaway, Rhoda! Hope I get to meet you in ATL.

Sadly, no, as much as I would love to make the trip to Atlanta, I can’t. 🙁
But, I’d love to try the paint!

Yes, YES! I can attend the ASP workshop in Peachtree City on March 29. I’ve got a couple of small tables that I want to paint, so this workshop would be perfect timing!

Unfortunately I cannot attend; however, I would LOVE the package. I actually have the paint card in hand to redo my daughter’s antique desk for our new house. Aubusson blue should be a perfect compliment! Cross my fingers!

Rhoda, I cannot attend the workshop but I would love to be entered in the giveaway. I went to Robyn Story’s shop last Dec and bought the Annie Sloan paint, waxes and she even gave me a free book with my order. The shop is a delight, so much eye candy and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I’m so excited that your having the giveaway and crossing my fingers I win. I think I would like the louis blue but all the colors are great it’s a hard decision to make! Mary

I am designing a beach house with ducks egg blue furniture. French linen on the trim. I love chalk paint. The finish is awesome when used with the tinted wax. Thx
