Blueberry Cookbook Giveaway

{Giveaway is Closed}

A very sweet reader in NC emailed me about their 7th annual Blueberry Festival that is held every year in Burgaw, NC.  And she also sent me a copy of their blueberry cookbook, which is chock full of great recipes using at least 1 cup of blueberries, retail value $18.

The festival began back in 2004 and recipes were collected over the years. Finally, enough recipes came together to compile a cookbook  with over 300 blueberry recipes.

I know many of you are berry fans also and would love to have a copy of this cookbook too, so she is graciously giving away 2 more copies to my readers.  All you have to do is leave a comment telling me your favorite way to eat blueberries.  If you don’t win, but would like to purchase a cookbook, you can call 910-259-9817 for all the details.

We LOVE blueberries in our family!  My parents have huge bushes up at their NC house and it’s a treat to go up there and pick this time of year.  In fact, we’ll be going up there very soon doing just that.  Blueberries are SO good for you too, you can’t eat too many of them.

OK, leave a comment and I’ll pick 2 winners for your very own copy of the NC Blueberry Festival Cookbook.

    My favorite way is to grab a handful and just eat! But I also love to add them to cereal and muffins.

    Another wonderful website and fun things to do from NC. Wish Missouri was a little closer. Yummy for the blueberry cookbook.

    Umm. I love blueberries, especially blueberry muffins. There are hidden blueberry bushes here in my town and only the town people know about them and I have for years tried to get them to tell me where they are. I am determined this year to find them.

      I noticed on my comment a few seconds ago that just as I pushed submit, my email address was incorrect. I corrected it here. Sorry.

    I’m simple when it comes to my blueberries– I like them pressed into the confectionary sugar and butter icing on top of fluffy angel food cake. Delicious!!

    You are so sweet! I like blueberries in a fruit cup made by my mother in law. Sitting outside in the early morning in Las Vegas with a cup of coffee and half a bagel. I just had that last week when I was there. They are huge this year!

    Blueberry Almond muffins are my fav but I don’t think there is any bad way to eat a blueberry. Yummy!

    We have several blueberry bushes and I love nothing better than going out early in the morning and picking blueberries (while dodging the dive bombing mockingbirds) and then adding them to my cereal. My husband makes a fabulous blueberry pie that he adapted from his grandmother’s huckleberry pie recipe. It is labor intensive but totally worth the time and effort to make it.
