Blueberry Cookbook Giveaway

{Giveaway is Closed}

A very sweet reader in NC emailed me about their 7th annual Blueberry Festival that is held every year in Burgaw, NC.  And she also sent me a copy of their blueberry cookbook, which is chock full of great recipes using at least 1 cup of blueberries, retail value $18.

The festival began back in 2004 and recipes were collected over the years. Finally, enough recipes came together to compile a cookbook  with over 300 blueberry recipes.

I know many of you are berry fans also and would love to have a copy of this cookbook too, so she is graciously giving away 2 more copies to my readers.  All you have to do is leave a comment telling me your favorite way to eat blueberries.  If you don’t win, but would like to purchase a cookbook, you can call 910-259-9817 for all the details.

We LOVE blueberries in our family!  My parents have huge bushes up at their NC house and it’s a treat to go up there and pick this time of year.  In fact, we’ll be going up there very soon doing just that.  Blueberries are SO good for you too, you can’t eat too many of them.

OK, leave a comment and I’ll pick 2 winners for your very own copy of the NC Blueberry Festival Cookbook.

    I live in NC and I love the abundance of blueberries and peaches here. If I feel like eating healthy I slice fresh peaches and throw some blueberries and toss them together in a bowl. Oh, but if I am feeling decadent I make a peach and blueberry cobbler in a casserole dish 81/2 x 11 and put thin pie crust between 3 layers and criss cross it on top like my Mom did. Yummy either way.

    I would love an opportunity to win a copy of this fabulous cookbook. I love blueberries in my smoothies on a hot summer afternoon. I also love them in my salads with feta cheese.

    What a great giveaway! My favorite way to eat blueberries is with my two year old son, Oliver. That kid LOVES his blueberries and he carries them around in his snack cup and pops them into his little mouth. I love it when he shares and puts them in my mouth for me! Priceless!

    Thanks for the chance to win!!!

    I love blueberry anything…pancakes, muffins, bread, smoothie, and just plain.

    I’ve gone to NC to pick apples, but didn’t realize they also have blueberries.

    We don’t grow many in Iowa, except in my yard (I get some) so I get most at the store. For the last 40-50 years, I’ve loved Blueberries in everything. My favorite is frozen on my cereal for breakfast, the milk freezes a thin crust on them, fantastic.
