I’m back with Christmas at Callanwolde, Part 3 and I know you’ll enjoy the finale of this beautiful Tudor mansion Christmas tour.  If you missed Part 1 and Part 2, there is so much to see, so go back and check those out as well.

Great staircase

We are going up the stairs on the Grand Staircase and grand it certainly is.

Great staircase ceiling

This is where the Aolian organ sounds that are so beautiful come from.

Looking down

Looking down the Grand Staircase.

Looking upstairs

And upstairs to the 2nd level.

Great staircase wreath

The landing on the Grand Staircase was beautifully done too.  All those stained glass windows were just stunning.

Another bedroom tree

Upstairs, one of the trees in a guestroom was so pretty.

Bedroom 2

Another guestroom

Bedroom mantel

Pretty colors and soft palette.

Bedroom sitting

Sitting area in guestroom

Bedroom tree

Trees are abundant at Callanwolde for Christmas.

Master bedroom

Here’s the large Master suite.

Master bed

The designer opted to place the bed in the window.

Master fireplace

Fireplace in the master.

Master sitting

Sitting room in the master.

Master sitting area

Another angle of the sitting area.

Master tree

The Master Christmas tree.

Master bath

One area that I really enjoyed seeing was the master bathroom.  Even for a house built in 1910, it was very spacious and I loved the original tile that is still there.  That vintage aqua blue is so in trend again.

Masterbath window

Look how pretty this window is.  It had it’s own tree too.

Masterbath floor

The pretty blue tile was in surprisingly good shape.

Masterbath tile

The border tile in the Master Bath.

Master sink

Master Sink.  I should have remembered to take a pic of the shower. It had all exposed pipes for a hot shower back then, which was pretty cool.

Masterbath dressing room

Master dressing room closet.

Present tree

A present tree in the hallway upstairs.

Petite hall tree

And a final tree in the Petite Hall upstairs.

What a tour, don’t you think?  I hope you enjoyed every single picture of this Christmas at Callanwolde tour and again, if you have never been, please put it on your list of things to do during the Holidays next year.  I thoroughly enjoyed our tour and am very grateful for the opportunity to see it in person and to share it all with you.

Designers on this tour:

Grand Staircase Landing:  Robert Grayson, ASID; Andrew Harris, ASID, Grayson-Harris Interiors & Design

Bedroom:  Julie Witzel, ASID, J. Witzel Interior Design

Master Bedroom:  Loren Audrey Taylor, Anna Abrams Design

Guestroom:  Kathryn Leach, Leach Associates, inc.

Merry Christmas, my friends!

I have several  more home tours for this week, so you are going to get an explosion of Christmas decorating tours all week long, from friends, family and neighbors around the area.  You are going to love them all!

Oh! Those windows in the first photograph! Could they be any more beautiful?

What a wonderful tour! You could be an amazing tour guide, you know? Your enthusiasm for places out and about in the South is contagious.

Thought about you the other day as I was using Knorr’s stock product–I keep those in my pantry now, and I’m never disappointed in how good they are. 🙂

Thanks so much for sharing this beautiful old mansion with us, Rhoda! Last week I went with 4 other friends and toured the Nemours Mansion in Wilmington, De. and it was spectacular BUT they didn’t allow ANY pictures!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had to leave my camera at the coat room:(:( Was your tour free or do you buy tickets? I will check Part 1 cause I missed that post. XO, Pinky
