{Giveaway is Closed}

The winner is:  #94, Lisa Appell!  Congrats, Lisa!

Some things come in small packages and that is the case with a brand new book!

Country Living Little Book of Big Decorating Ideas

I love getting the chance to review these décor books up close and personal and this one is so tiny and cute.  A little square book packed with decorating ideas!  What fun.

The tag line is 287 clever tips, tricks and solutions and they are right.  Each page is numbered with a great idea for decorating, from quirky, to found objects and recyling, there’s an idea for every design enthusiast.

Country Living Big decorating ideas

It’s tiny and square, about 6” square.  From the editors of Country Living, one of our fave magazines, you’ll find tips on hundreds of ideas to tap into your home’s full potential.

Country Living book 2

Pages 68 and 69:  Bathroom ideas and fireplace plans.

Country Living 3

Pages 99 and 100: Birdcages and quirky clothes pins.

Country Living 4

Pages 117 and 118:  Painted stairs and upholstery ideas.

Country Living 5

Pages 216 and 217:  Color ideas for the living room and bedroom.

Country Living 6

Pages 240 and 241:  Framed art and gallery walls.

Country Living 7

And the outdoor areas even got in the book, Pages 230 and 231:  Outdoor planting and fence ideas.

It really is packed with some great pics and you’ll enjoy thumbing through this one. I love adding great décor books to my growing collection for those times that I just want to unplug and sit on the porch with a pretty book in hand.  I don’t always want to be in front of my computer, do you? Winking smile

ONE very lucky reader is also going to get a chance to add Country Living’s Little Book of BIG Decorating Ideas to your collection too!  All you have to do is leave a comment telling me why you love décor books and how much you’ll enjoy this one.

I’ll pick a random winner in a few days!  That’s it!

I love decor books for number of reasons. I love getting ideas on how to decorate my home, what things to collect and how to use what I already have. I also love using decor books to decorate my house. They are everywhere: in my office, in my parlor where guests can come and go over decor books. Many of them are so so unique and colorful that make great conversation pieces. My guests love them. I love them! Especially I love looking at them when I am having a bad day. Everything seems so much better and brighter once I start going through my favorite decor books.

I would love to have this book in my library. It would become a great “go to” tool for decorating dilemmas, ideas for changing room arrangement & decor, or to just get creative ideas & start the creative juices flowing.

I love to sit with a decor book and dream of my next project. My house is mostly done, but I can always start over somewhere!

I love that not only are they full of great ideas, but the book itself is a perfect piece of décor for a coffee table.

Décor books give inspiration about how to decorate a home. They supply fresh ideas to make one’s surroundings filled with ambience. This book would supply some of the latest ideas.

I love decorating books and especially ones that are packed with ideas for every inch of your home, inside and out. Also ones that aren’t so far out and those with projects that are very affordable. From what I can tell from your sample pages that is how this book appears so I would love it!

I love Country Living magazine! That’s the only magazine I subscribe to that I don’t give away when I finish reading it. They never have a “miss.” If I had that little book, perhaps I’d be inspired to dispose of a few of my magazines, assuming the book would have the same decorating ideas. I’m running out of room!

There is just something extra inspiring about holding a decor book in your hands and dreaming of all the possibilities. Blogs are good…but there is something about the book. And then when I’m not dreaming or scheming …. it’s a pretty accent in my home.
    Thanks Rhoda!

Although I spend way too much time perusing the internet I still love holding a book and looking at pretty pictures.

What a very nice give away! Thanks for this chance! I love home decor books for the endless inspiration they provide. I think of them as my home bible! I try to look for something in these decor books and apply it to my home- then go back, look at it again and try to find yet something else to inspire me!
