Some things come in small packages and that is the case with a brand new book!
Country Living Little Book of Big Decorating Ideas
I love getting the chance to review these décor books up close and personal and this one is so tiny and cute. A little square book packed with decorating ideas! What fun.
The tag line is 287 clever tips, tricks and solutions and they are right. Each page is numbered with a great idea for decorating, from quirky, to found objects and recyling, there’s an idea for every design enthusiast.
It’s tiny and square, about 6” square. From the editors of Country Living, one of our fave magazines, you’ll find tips on hundreds of ideas to tap into your home’s full potential.
Pages 68 and 69: Bathroom ideas and fireplace plans.
Pages 99 and 100: Birdcages and quirky clothes pins.
Pages 117 and 118: Painted stairs and upholstery ideas.
Pages 216 and 217: Color ideas for the living room and bedroom.
Pages 240 and 241: Framed art and gallery walls.
And the outdoor areas even got in the book, Pages 230 and 231: Outdoor planting and fence ideas.
It really is packed with some great pics and you’ll enjoy thumbing through this one. I love adding great décor books to my growing collection for those times that I just want to unplug and sit on the porch with a pretty book in hand. I don’t always want to be in front of my computer, do you?
ONE very lucky reader is also going to get a chance to add Country Living’s Little Book of BIG Decorating Ideas to your collection too! All you have to do is leave a comment telling me why you love décor books and how much you’ll enjoy this one.
I’ll pick a random winner in a few days! That’s it!
Today, I’m sharing over at SAS Interiors series of Creating a Meaningful Home,so I’d love for you to stop over and check it out! She has many bloggers sharing their stories and it’s a fun series. It goes live at 7 a.m. EST.

Love, love, love design books! I love them so much that Amazon.com sends me notices when new design books hit the market! I am a healthcare consultant by profession but I do a lot of medical office interiors in concert with healthcare architects and contractors. I create the same warmth in the public areas of these offices as I would in my own home – and patients love it. In addition, I have decorated friends’ and physician’s homes. There is always some project ongoing in my own home. I keep abreast of trends by reading voraciously. Besides, you can never have too many books………

I am an avid Country Living reader, and I know any publication they produce would have to be wonderful. The preview looks like it is filled with very practical ideas to enhance a home indoors or in a garden setting.
Maybe Country Living should do a story on your new back porch living space!!
