Instagram Inspiration

I love the feed of Jo Galbraith at Home. Her style is so  much of what I love, using blue and white, vintage paintings, and a coastal feel. Isn’t this gorgeous? You will love her feed if you love this!

I continue to be delighted by wallpaper in powder rooms. This one by designer Clary Bosbyshell is just beautiful, with the botanical paper, brass & marble sink and that stylish rattan mirror. That is my kind of combo!

See what I mean? This beautiful and stylish powder room from Paperwhites Interiors caught my eye as well. Sigh….sweet botanical, gold sconces, bamboo shades, a beautiful combo again.

Recipes

Here’s a recipe I shared a few years ago and I keep forgetting to make it again. I’m digging it out this week, Spicy Chicken RIce Bowl, Asian inspired with curry paste and delicious.

Around the House

I found some great things this week for the home. Of course, rattan always catches my eye and I see that Walmart has a great selection of rattan pieces that don’t break the bank. Same with mirrors, if you’re looking for stylish mirrors, they have plenty of those too. I’m sharing a few of each of these as well as some benches. I love a bench at the end of the bed if there’s room.

I also spotted a couple more outdoor sets from Walmart, these are so stylish and great price points. This Baxton Studio set is really pretty and I love the mix of materials.

Here’s another one from Better Homes and Gardens and I love this mix of white and natural faux wicker with the neutral cushions. At $766, this 4 piece set is really a good deal.

What We’re Watching

I don’t have a lot to report on this front right now, but we are always looking for new series to watch.

I’m going to watch the new competition series on HGTV that just started, Rock the Block. I’ve watched it in the past and I’m sure the new one from Charleston will be fun to watch.

I’ve also been watching another HGTV real estate/design show from a couple in Atlanta, Egypt Sherrod and her husband, Mike Johnson on Married to Real Estate as they renovate and remake homes here in Atlanta for couples. It’s a good show too!
