Zatarain’s Cajun Cooking Food Giveaway

(Giveaway is Closed)

Those fine folks at Zatarain’s are always coming up with some tasty dishes.  I’ve been cooking their rice dishes for years now and always enjoy them.   They recently sent me a package of goodies for my very own to savor and taste and you know I will enjoy that.

From Jambalaya mix

To Red Beans and Rice dip and Creole mustard (love this stuff!), you will love this package.

Here are a few recipes to share too, like King Cake cupcakes, just in case you are celebrating Mardi Gras this year.

Zatarain’s wants to give one of YOU a food package too (valued around $40), so all you have to do is leave a comment, telling me if you have tried Zatarain’s products and do you love them as much as I do?  These are a few of the items you’ll receive straight from Zatarain’s.

Check out Chef John Besh’s video for some extra fun Creole cooking ideas too!

Do tell?!

We love Zatarain’s around here! I especially love their wild rice, but it seems to be harder and harder to find in our area.

I always try to keep some Zatarains, in the cupboard. I never have to fuss over what’s for dinner, make some cornbread, prepare the Zatarains and we’re all set. NICE!

My family lived in Louisiana for 5 years and we LOVE cajun food! Thankfully we can find Zatarains at most stores here in the midwest. My husband loves their gumbo base and you can’t go wrong with red beans and rice. Yumm, now I’m hungry!

I love Zatarans products and have used them for years. My favorite is the red beans seasoning mix. It is the real thing! The only thing I ever use to season red beans and rice with.

Took our first trip to New Olreans in July of ’01 and just celebrated our 9 year old souvineers birthday on Mardi Gras 😉 complete with beignets instead of birthday cake–the powered sugar and a candle is fantastic! We make king cupcakes with a baby for each child. Laura–named for Laura plantation–requested Zatarains Gumbo and shrimp & crawfish boil for dinner. We always serve Zatarain’s at our house and never fail to send someone out the door with their own box–totally impressed! What a great giveaway!!

Zatarain’s products are a staple in my pantry. With a piece of meat (or not) it’s easy to pull off a meal. Tasty rice indeed! Thank you for chance at a give-away from them.
