Giveaway is Closed
After much anticipation by all, the beautifully designed issues of Holiday magazine by Matthew Mead have arrived. After preordering earlier this year, I just received my copy in the last couple of days and have flipped through the gorgeous pages and will set aside time to read each and every entry. It’s 146 pages of pure Christmas magic and beauty and I really think that you’ll all enjoy it tremendously. It’s only available through the Holiday website at this time, no copies will be on the newsstands. This is the very first issue and we hope there are more!
Not your typical glossy magazine, this is really more of a book, with matte pages and beautifully photographed Christmas rooms and ideas. Chock full of crafts, recipes, vignettes and more, it is sure to be a book to turn to for Holiday inspiration for years to come.
Matthew is completely an artist when it comes to styling photos and vignettes. Second to none and you can see his well-known work all over the pages. Matthew has been involved in magazines for so many years and is a master.
You’ll find loads of inspiration for your own Christmas style.
Page after page of beauty and tempting ideas.
And you won’t find all the ads in between stories like normal magazines. There are a few at the back and mostly small women-owned shops are featured. Several bloggers (including myself) are featured in a few pages and Christmas craft ideas from our blogs were used as inspiration.Â
So, if you need some fresh new ideas this year, I think you’re in luck. Matthew and company have asked me to give away ONE copy of Holiday to one of you. If you already have a copy, please don’t sign up. I’d love for someone who does not already own one, to win this time!
Thanks so much! Just leave a comment and tell me what sort of ideas you have this year for Christmas decorating. Are you changing things up or doing what you always do?
Me, I always have to change things up some just to keep things fresh and new!
NOTE: If you are reading this by email subscription, please DO NOT email me back for the giveaway. As always, you will need to leave comments on THIS post to be eligible for the magazine! Thanks so much!
I’ve got a few giveaways going on this week and last, so bear with me. They’re all good ones, so I hope you enjoy. I’ll pick a winner on Wednesday evening.

Oh, I would love a copy! My husband just retired from the USMC this year and we moved back home to SC – bought a 111 year old home. Our family is so excited about decorating our new old home for the first time this year.
I would love to win a copy of this book! Thanks for the giveaway.
The one thing that we are changing up this year for sure is that we’re getting a real Christmas tree that will be really tall since we have vaulted ceilings. I’ll be checking blogs out for inspiration on how to decorate it.
🙂
This will be my first time to decorate for the holidays in more than 12 years, as I was married to someone who didn’t see the point so did not permit it. Nine years of that, then being too impoverished by catastrophic illness to be able to afford it for the next three years, this year I’m celebrating having survived all THAT to decorate any way I want, for as LONG as I want. It’ll be homemade, and out of what I do not yet know, but by golly, it’ll be festive! 🙂
Beautiful! I would love to have a copy!
I would love to win a copy of this magazine. My tree is the same from year to year, but I try to make my mantle and my wreaths different from year to year. It’s almost time to start!
I would love to win a copy of Holiday! This year I am changing it up a bit – instead of my usual jewel tone ornaments I am going more rustic in shades of green, white & silver. Can’t wait to craft up some new ornaments! Thanks for this fab giveaway!

Oh I would love a copy! Same decorating except for the placement of the tree. I think we may move it into another room and right in front of a big window.
Silver and blue are my colors this year. Would love some ideas!
I would love winning a copy of this book and thank you for the great give-away! As we redid our living room to be 50’s/60’s Post Modern, I want to do Retro looking decorations this year. Going a little off track though as I got a huge Silver Tinsel Tree along with a Color Wheel so I guess it will look more 60’s but should be very fun and completely different than what I’ve done in the past!

I’m changing it up a bit this year. I’ve got some burlap that needs to be used up… Would love to win a copy of the magazine — uh, book! =)
I’d love to receive a copy of that magazine.
This will be our 48 Christmas here. Even the adults in the family expect to see ornaments on the tree in their usual place. Everyone will be home this year, so I plan to make it extra special. Happy Holidays.
I’ve heard so much about this special publication and I’d love to have a copy of my own.
The main focus of my Christmas decor remains fairly constant; however, I do change a few of the details here and there. La
I would love a copy!! Definitely changing things up a bit. Adding silver and mercury candle holders to the mantle decor with either red or white – haven’t decided yet. Also making some new ornaments for the tree.
Would love this “bookzine”….I need some MAJOR inspiration for my holiday decor this year.
I always think I want to change things up for Christmas but can’t seem to stop the old standbys. This summer I tried to sell some decor in a yard sale. My 17 year old came out and saw the items sitting there and asked how I could sell her childhood, for money? She took them back inside. So yeah, we end up with the same stuff every year with just a new item or two here and there.
Well…I’m doing something different this year, I’m decorating. As an empty-nester single mom, I stopped decorating at Christmas. But this year will be far different, I’m inviting anyone from our singles group who has no where to go Christmas Day to my home. So I’m really jazzed about decorating.
I would love to win a copy! While the decorating for Christmas is fun, I always like to see if I can stretch the ideas into other times of the year as well for longer fun. Thanks for the chance!
I’d love to win a copy!
This year we aren’t going as extensive with our decorations, as we will be out of town for a good bit of December. But it’s always fun to see new ideas.
Please include me in your giveaway!
This year I will change up my Christmas time decorating quite a bit. I moved from a large home to a townhouse. So what a perfect time to change up my Christmas decor. I think I will add things around my house to my swags and wreaths and make each one look unique compared a store bought look. Old photos, silverware, ribbons and oddities will be included in them.
I would LOVE a copy! It looks like it’s full of great ideas! We just moved to a new home, so everything will be a little different and new this year. So excited!
