Giveaway is Closed
After much anticipation by all, the beautifully designed issues of Holiday magazine by Matthew Mead have arrived. After preordering earlier this year, I just received my copy in the last couple of days and have flipped through the gorgeous pages and will set aside time to read each and every entry. It’s 146 pages of pure Christmas magic and beauty and I really think that you’ll all enjoy it tremendously. It’s only available through the Holiday website at this time, no copies will be on the newsstands. This is the very first issue and we hope there are more!
Not your typical glossy magazine, this is really more of a book, with matte pages and beautifully photographed Christmas rooms and ideas. Chock full of crafts, recipes, vignettes and more, it is sure to be a book to turn to for Holiday inspiration for years to come.
Matthew is completely an artist when it comes to styling photos and vignettes. Second to none and you can see his well-known work all over the pages. Matthew has been involved in magazines for so many years and is a master.
You’ll find loads of inspiration for your own Christmas style.
Page after page of beauty and tempting ideas.
And you won’t find all the ads in between stories like normal magazines. There are a few at the back and mostly small women-owned shops are featured. Several bloggers (including myself) are featured in a few pages and Christmas craft ideas from our blogs were used as inspiration.Â
So, if you need some fresh new ideas this year, I think you’re in luck. Matthew and company have asked me to give away ONE copy of Holiday to one of you. If you already have a copy, please don’t sign up. I’d love for someone who does not already own one, to win this time!
Thanks so much! Just leave a comment and tell me what sort of ideas you have this year for Christmas decorating. Are you changing things up or doing what you always do?
Me, I always have to change things up some just to keep things fresh and new!
NOTE: If you are reading this by email subscription, please DO NOT email me back for the giveaway. As always, you will need to leave comments on THIS post to be eligible for the magazine! Thanks so much!
I’ve got a few giveaways going on this week and last, so bear with me. They’re all good ones, so I hope you enjoy. I’ll pick a winner on Wednesday evening.
I am changing this up this year (always do!) and are going to stick with the natural red and white with some zebra print throw in!
Good Morning Rhoda,
I really enjoy lurking on your blog and thanks so much for sharing a few photos from Matthew Mead’s Holiday Mag. They are beautiful. I am always looking for new ideas to decorate for Christmas and change things up every year. I plan to use my growing Mercury Glass collection and experimenting on Mirror Glass Spray paint. Thank you for this giveaway and of course I would love to win.
I always try to change it up a bit………..I get bored. Time to downsize a bit………..so that I can buy new 😉 Would love to receive the Holiday Magazine! Thanks for the opportunity.
Can’t wait to check this magazine out. I always do Christmas differently every year. Love tradition, but c’mom, decorating is so much fun!
Would love to have a copy! I am always looking for new ideas.
Would love to have a copy. The sneak peak you gave us made me want to go out and buy it 🙂
Thanks for the chance to win, I would gobble up all of the holiday yumminess!!
I would love some fresh new ideas for the Christmas season! I am planning on having the grandchildren come and “decorate” my tree…funny how all the ornaments are waist-high and below! But the tree and the time spent with them are just glorious!
I would absolutely “L-O-V-E” to win a copy of this! I’m always in search of new decorating magazines and the blogosphere really has this magazine way up there!!!
This year,I’m going against my norm and am actually GOING TO decorate…trees of some sort in every room and more focus on eco-looking/natural decor with a splash of color here and there like cream, silver and green. More home-made decor to use up all these canvases and scrapbook products that I have.
oh my gosh – the beautiful photos you have posted are making me all verklempt with inspiration! {breathing into a paper bag to stop hyperventilating}
I am going to go with a more natural look this year, using pieces of nature with a little bit of sparkle and light! I bet this mag could give me some ideas!
We’re going to change it up this year. We are planning on having a real tree-haven’t done that for yrs. I’m looking forward to the wonderful smell.
I’d love to win a copy! I’m thinking about decorating outdoors around our pool this year – maybe some ornaments on my container plants and a tablescape on the patio table!
I’m thinking about keeping my dining room table “set” all holiday season to add beauty to the room.
Looks like a great magazine. Can’t wait to be inspired.
Rhoda,
I have done the same thing for the last three years or so, adding a piece or two to “freshen” up the look. I would love to win a copy of Matthew’s book. I think I may make a new front door wreath but am looking for some inspiration. I read your blog daily. Thanks for sharing your talent with us.
Would love to try something new this year on a very limited budget;)
I really want to check out his book! Please,if possible, enter Sue #21 in place of my name. I would love if she could win it instead of me.
I would love some new ideas for decorating this year. What a great Giveaway!!
