Giveaway is Closed
After much anticipation by all, the beautifully designed issues of Holiday magazine by Matthew Mead have arrived. After preordering earlier this year, I just received my copy in the last couple of days and have flipped through the gorgeous pages and will set aside time to read each and every entry. It’s 146 pages of pure Christmas magic and beauty and I really think that you’ll all enjoy it tremendously. It’s only available through the Holiday website at this time, no copies will be on the newsstands. This is the very first issue and we hope there are more!
Not your typical glossy magazine, this is really more of a book, with matte pages and beautifully photographed Christmas rooms and ideas. Chock full of crafts, recipes, vignettes and more, it is sure to be a book to turn to for Holiday inspiration for years to come.
Matthew is completely an artist when it comes to styling photos and vignettes. Second to none and you can see his well-known work all over the pages. Matthew has been involved in magazines for so many years and is a master.
You’ll find loads of inspiration for your own Christmas style.
Page after page of beauty and tempting ideas.
And you won’t find all the ads in between stories like normal magazines. There are a few at the back and mostly small women-owned shops are featured. Several bloggers (including myself) are featured in a few pages and Christmas craft ideas from our blogs were used as inspiration.Â
So, if you need some fresh new ideas this year, I think you’re in luck. Matthew and company have asked me to give away ONE copy of Holiday to one of you. If you already have a copy, please don’t sign up. I’d love for someone who does not already own one, to win this time!
Thanks so much! Just leave a comment and tell me what sort of ideas you have this year for Christmas decorating. Are you changing things up or doing what you always do?
Me, I always have to change things up some just to keep things fresh and new!
NOTE: If you are reading this by email subscription, please DO NOT email me back for the giveaway. As always, you will need to leave comments on THIS post to be eligible for the magazine! Thanks so much!
I’ve got a few giveaways going on this week and last, so bear with me. They’re all good ones, so I hope you enjoy. I’ll pick a winner on Wednesday evening.

This looks like a grate magazine! This year I’m into sparkle, but less. I’m looking at accenting my gold , silver and creme ornaments with something turquoise that sparkles. Think German glitter. I’m accenting my slipcovered furniture with grey and turquoise pillows. Candlesticks on the mantle and a simple arrangement on the table.
I would just love to win!
Ooohh…I’ve been wanting to order a copy but decided to be good and save my money for Christmas presents. :o)
I have some new shelves and a buffet thingy to decorate this year. I have no idea what to do with them but I’m excited to start working on them! Thanks for the great giveaway!
I would love to win a book, thanks for the chance!
This looks like a beautiful publication! It is always great to see what an expert like Matthew Mead and great bloggers [such as yourself!] dream up for Christmas decorating! Thank you for the giveaway opportunity. This would certainly be a treasure!
I would love to get a copy of this magazine. I am thinking of going more simple and with more of a nature theme.
Hi Rhoda! Oh, how I’d love to have a copy of this wonderful book.
Well, I guess one thing I plan to do differently for my Christmas decorating is to hopefully have my tree up and decorated before the week is over. Our daughter and her family live so very far from us and they will be here next Sunday evening for a little visit and of course with our first grandbaby! We thought it would be so sweet to have our tree up and let little Carter open some Christmas presents from her grandparents! 🙂 I’ll take lots of pictures. We have to take advantage of every grandbaby moment! 🙂 Does this count?
Be a sweetie,
Shelia 🙂
Hi Rhoda, I’m not entering the giveaway since I already got my Holiday in the mail, but I just wanted to say Congratulations on your feature in there!! 🙂 Have a great week!
I luurrvve Christmas magazine/books and I don’t have this one. Put my name in the hat please!
I would love to win a copy! I am doing something quite different this year. I’m making a “forest” in one corner of our family room. Been thrifting all sizes of Christmas trees all year. We’ll see if it turns out like it looks in my head!
I have never looked at one of his magazines. Would love to read one! I will be changing the location of my tree this year to the dining room. We ran out of room in the living room!
What a beautiful magazine! I’m going to try and edit things down this Christmas and really only keep what I love. I can’t wait to get everything out and try to look upon it with new eyes and fresh ideas to reinvent a few things!
This would be great! I keep alot of the same things each year, because I love tradition, but I usually add new things here and there and change up the way I display everything. I absolutely love Christmas decorating!!
I’d love to win this! Christmas decorating is my favorite and I need all the inspiration I can get!
I just came across this site looking for ways to change a lampshade…what a delightful little site! 🙂 As far as Christmas, I’ll be adding a few new touches here and there, but I’m pretty happy with the collections I’ve acquired over the years. I’m actually starting my decorating next week….gulp.
The magazine looks like it has many ideas. I’m always ready to see new ideas.
WOW! i would LOVE to win this book!!! i don’t have it, and i need it! i am trying to change things a little this year and just go a little more neutral and natural. i don’t even remember what i have in the attic and i can’t afford anythingnew, so hopefully i can make it work. 🙂
I have lots of new plans for this year. It involves color and lots of burlap!!
Been following your blog for a while and also friends on facebook..Love your blog and your style…thanks for the pleasure!!!Lisa
I’d love a copy! I’m so excited to put out my usual Christmas decor along with all the things I’ve picked up at thrift stores, antique stores and yard sales throughout the year.
Oh, I would love a copy of this magazine. It looks like a beautiful issue and congrats on your feature! I am thinking about changing up my decor this Christmas and using several smaller trees instead of one large one.
Hugs,
Sherry
