I’m just over the moon excited about my new office space. A whole room for all my computer stuff and space to be organized too. How great will that be? You got a sneak peek of the green walls being painted and now they are all finished and I can’t wait to show you how fun it’s going to be.
It’s hard to capture the green correctly, but it’s a custom color that I had Sherwin-Williams make for me, a vibrant yellowy-green, called Fennel. I decided to leave off the bi-fold closet doors and paint the inside a happy turquoise color, Larchmere by Sherwin-Williams.
My plan is to add an Ikea bookcase of some kind inside (to be determined) with baskets and bins for storage (in white, that should look great against the pretty blue).
Here’s a peek of the dark brown doors with my office wall colors. Only one coat on in this pic, but it’s looking good.
Here’s what you see when you walk in the room, lots of pretty green.
I decided that far wall was the perfect wall to stencil and I used the Large Moorish allover stencil from Royal Designs that I used in my sister’s bedroom. Here’s a tutorial I did when we used this same stencil in my sister’s bedroom, go here.
One pretty wall of ivory pearl stencil and it’s a standout. Do you like? I sure do! Now, here’s the really fun part. I can’t move in here yet, we still have to do floors in this room, but can’t you just see it all coming together? In case you need a little visual help, here’s my inspiration board, with all the elements that are going to make my office dreamy, happy and functional. Click on the pic (done in Olioboard) and it will show where everything is from:
You can see the Ikea Blad panels are really going to brighten up the space. I added a striped rug, but am not sure which rug will end up in here. All those little fun details will make a huge impact on my office space. This is my existing Target desk, with a white chair similar to mine. The Ballard shelves I already have, and I’ve added a cute chair just for funsies. That wall clock I bought from Joss and Main and it is so cute. Check out those pretty black botanicals too! I’ve got some super fun plans for those and I’ll share that project with you real soon. You’re going to love it! So, that’s my office space plan! I hope you like it as much as I do. I mentioned that I’ll be doing a lot of blues and greens (my two fave colors) in this house and the office will come alive with color when I’m finished with it.
It’s hard not to get excited when I see this chipcard that I got using Sherwin-Williams’ Chip It! tool!
You can get the Chip It! button just like the Pin It button for Pinterest. Watch the video, then drag the Chip It! button below to your toolbar:

The master bedroom in my house is in desperate need of an update.
It has not been updated since the early 1990’s.
I want to redo my drab horrible laundry room. I painted it “chocolate brown” but it turned out a deep red. UGH!!! Now I see it every hour or so as the laundry room is at the side entrance where we come in and out of the home
The kitchen! Boy, does it need some attention! Thanks!
Love those two colors together! I would love to update my kitchen with new curtains, accessories and paint! I have an old pantry that needs some finishing work too.
I would love to make over our “bonus room” upstairs that serves us as a second family room and MASSIVE toy storage area. The room is basic builder’s grade beige and I want the room to match the vibrant personality of my little boys! Thank you so much for sharing your renovation with us, it is AMAZING what you have accomplished in such a short time!
I have that same green in my daughter’s bedroom with the white. I hadn’t thought about using the turquoise with it. Great idea! I would like to find new ideas for my family room. It has been the same colors (blue, tan, cream) for about 15 years and everything is worn out. I have a sample fabric that I would use ChipIt on to find the colors.
I want to redo our bedroom. It needs some serious updating!
I love the stenciled accent wall in your office. It looks great. I would love to use ChipIt and the gift cards to give my daughter’s bedroom a makeover. She just moved back home after college and her room needs updating.
I would love to use Chip It to make over our kitchen.

Love that stencil! I am working on my daughter’s bedroom and we have tossed around the idea of stenciling one of her walls. I am going to have to show her this picture to see what she thinks. I LOVE it!

I luckily have all my rooms painted the way I would like although I would redo the family room if I had to choose a room to redo. I will be using Chip It though for the new house we are building. So excited for this! My creativity has left me for some reason so this tool will be a hug help in finding it again. Thank you!!!! I love your green and turquoise walls/office space!
I really want to redo my living room! It is in so much need!
I blogged about your giveaway here: http://wattsinaday.blogspot.com/2012/07/sherwin-williams-giveaway.html
I need to chip some inspiration pics for our master bedroom. We will be painting soon.
I am excited to use the Chip It tool! Paint is a great, inexpensive way to change a room.
We are redoing every room in our house from paint to flooring and the prize money would help the reno move FASTER! 🙂
I’m using Chip It for every room in my house. We just bought our home and need to paint every room. Chip It is making the task seem a little less daunting.
