One of the perks of being a design blogger is getting to do book reviews. And as a lover of Southern Living magazine, of course, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to check out a brand new book by the publisher of one of my favorite magazines. I’m a Southern girl, after all!

Definitely the dining room…currently the gloomy repository of projects, leftovers from college packing, and items to donate. I think there’s still a table in there…somewhere!
I am a huge fan of Southern Living and strive for that look in my home. My husband will finish seminary next year and we will be relocating.
I would love to have the book for new ideas to incorporate our current furnishings into another and possibly smaller space. I’m keeping my fingers crossed 🙂

We are currently house-hunting, so I could potentially need every room re-done! But the top priority will be the Master bedroom. Once that has been made a haven, the rest of the home seems to morph into place. I love Southern Living! Thanks, Rhoda, for the give-away.

I have a fairly new townhome but I have not really done much with my bedroom and bath. It is still builder beige. Maybe this book would inspire me to get busy on this project!
I was just in the bookstore the other day and looked at that very book. I really liked it. I am a subscriber to Southern Living Magazine and used to be a consultant for Southern Living at Home. Being a Southern Girl also I love the magazine and this book looks fabulous. I need to update several rooms in my home, but my next project is my living room. It needs some thrifty pizzazz and what better place to find it then in this book. Thanks for the chance to win!

My living room desperately needs an update. I have a huge bare wall, and I’d love to know how to fill it without it looking cluttered.
I’m a huge Southern Living fan also. I am sitting in my living room right now trying to figure out what I want to do with it. It needs a complete redesign and I’d love to see what ideas this book has. I went from shabby chic to modern and now I want to go back to more of a shabby antique look again.
I love Southern Living and would love this book! My husband I just received some beautiful 1940’s era bedroom furniture from his grandmother. Would love to figure out how to incorporate this into our guest bedroom and re-work that room.
