I happened upon your site and was delighted. Love your color palate, ideas and I especially love your use of dried hydrangeas! Thank you for sharing.
I have a sample of the Graham Brown beadboard wall paper. I want to use it on my kitchen ceiling. My wallpaper guy thinks the paper should be trimmed to the “grove” so seams don’t shoe. Do you think that is necessary? Have you used this on a ceiling?

Hi, Kathryn, I haven’t used it on a ceiling, but I would think on a flat ceiling it would be just like on a wall, so I wouldn’t trim it. I’d install it as it is. The seams are hardly noticeable once it’s up and painted. I’d go ahead and paint it and that fills in those small seams for the most part.
Hello! So happy to have stumbled upon your website and blog. (Thank you, Pinterest!) We just bought a new house and I have a lot of “re-doing” ahead of me! Your style and my style seem to mesh perfectly, so, I will be using your blog as a reference, I am certain! My new house, too, is a 1970’s contemporary style home that I am so anxious to make mine/ours. I say, ours, as I need to include my DH and recently added three grandchildren ranging in ages from 10 -15. Oiiiieeeeee!!! Hi, Jamie, it’s Bona hardwood floor cleaner and you can get it at Home Depot or Lowes. Their mops are great too.

Love your blog my whole home as wooden flooring and I wanted to do them white to be honest I did challenge myself but not very happy with my results Iits like yellowing.I just did 1 room amen tp for that now I need to fix my balls upplease can you give me some advise

Glad to run into your blog. I shall be moving to the Atlanta area just as soon as my house sells here in Lexington, VA. I shall be joining my daughter who has already made the move and we will be sharing a rented home until we each make the decision as to just where we want to live. Her business practice is in
Sandy Springs so we are concentrating on a 25 mile radius from there.
