I have a sample of the Graham Brown beadboard wall paper. I want to use it on my kitchen ceiling. My wallpaper guy thinks the paper should be trimmed to the “grove” so seams don’t shoe. Do you think that is necessary? Have you used this on a ceiling?
Thank you!
Hi, Kathryn, I haven’t used it on a ceiling, but I would think on a flat ceiling it would be just like on a wall, so I wouldn’t trim it. I’d install it as it is. The seams are hardly noticeable once it’s up and painted. I’d go ahead and paint it and that fills in those small seams for the most part.

Hello! So happy to have stumbled upon your website and blog. (Thank you, Pinterest!) We just bought a new house and I have a lot of “re-doing” ahead of me! Your style and my style seem to mesh perfectly, so, I will be using your blog as a reference, I am certain! My new house, too, is a 1970’s contemporary style home that I am so anxious to make mine/ours. I say, ours, as I need to include my DH and recently added three grandchildren ranging in ages from 10 -15. Oiiiieeeeee!!! LOL….oh well…let’s just say it will be a family project full of “labor with Love!

Just ran across your blog on tearing off carpet on stairs. I’ve been wanting to do this but afraid to try, but after looking at what you did I just may give it a go for.
Susie, I’m sure my niece got them online. I’ll have to ask her but it’s been 4 years ago.

Glad to run into your blog. I shall be moving to the Atlanta area just as soon as my house sells here in Lexington, VA. I shall be joining my daughter who has already made the move and we will be sharing a rented home until we each make the decision as to just where we want to live. Her business practice is in
Sandy Springs so we are concentrating on a 25 mile radius from there.
Once I am settled in my little condo, I plan to use some of your ideas – most especially the bead board wall paper.
Hi, Irene, welcome to Atlanta soon! Hope you enjoy it.

For some reason my name was dropped from your bloglist. I have been a subscriber for over a year, but suddenly realized I hadn’t been receiving anything from you for several weeks. Please reinstate me because I really enjoy your blog.
HI, Barbara, I have no idea how that could have happened as I never delete any names. Did you try adding your email in my subscribe box above? Hope that works for you!
