Holiday: A Giveaway

Giveaway is Closed

After much anticipation by all, the beautifully designed issues of Holiday magazine by Matthew Mead have arrived. After preordering earlier this year, I just received my copy in the last couple of days and have flipped through the gorgeous pages and will set aside time to read each and every entry. It’s 146 pages of pure Christmas magic and beauty and I really think that you’ll all enjoy it tremendously. It’s only available through the Holiday website at this time, no copies will be on the newsstands. This is the very first issue and we hope there are more!

Not your typical glossy magazine, this is really more of a book, with matte pages and beautifully photographed Christmas rooms and ideas. Chock full of crafts, recipes, vignettes and more, it is sure to be a book to turn to for Holiday inspiration for years to come.

Matthew is completely an artist when it comes to styling photos and vignettes.  Second to none and you can see his well-known work all over the pages.  Matthew has been involved in magazines  for so many years and is a master. You’ll find loads of inspiration for your own Christmas style.

Page after page of beauty and tempting ideas.

And you won’t find all the ads in between stories like normal magazines.  There are a few at the back and mostly small women-owned shops are featured.  Several bloggers (including myself) are featured in a few pages and Christmas craft ideas from our blogs were used as inspiration.  So, if you need some fresh new ideas this year, I think you’re in luck.  Matthew and company have asked me to give away ONE copy of Holiday to one of you.  If you already have a copy, please don’t sign up.  I’d love for someone who does not already own one, to win this time!

Thanks so much!  Just leave a comment and tell me what sort of ideas you have this year for Christmas decorating.  Are you changing things up or doing what you always do?

Me, I always have to change things up some just to keep things fresh and new!

NOTE:  If you are reading this by email subscription, please DO NOT email me back for the giveaway.  As always, you will need to leave comments on THIS post to be eligible for the magazine!  Thanks so much!

I’ve got a few giveaways going on this week and last, so bear with me.  They’re all good ones, so I hope you enjoy.  I’ll pick a winner on Wednesday evening.

Happy Sunday to you Rhoda 🙂
Long story short…I have not been in the Christmas spirit for five years…to my hubby’s dismay!…My husbands cancer diagnosis has changed so much in our lives…talk about a kick in the hind to make me realize how blessed we are! I want to surprise my hubby with a home all decked out this year…simple yet absolutely magical! I believe Mathew’s mag and all the wonderfully talented bloggers who assisted with their talents will help me create a memory my husband and I will treasure always 🙂
Thank you for such a wonderful give-away!

I would call my style of decorating “cozy, warm, and welcoming” and that is exactly the type of feeling I like to evoke with my Christmas decorations, as well. I won’t be changing up my decor this year, but I do want to add those little extra “pops” of whimsy and the unexpected. I am sure I would find exactly what I need in Matthew Mead’s Holiday Magazine!

This year I am changing my Christmas decorations.
I am using lime green, red, green and white. In the past
    I have used mostly pinks.

I have been slowly building up my supply of the more natural elements of Christmas. This year will have a lot of green branches, cones, nests and white satin ribbon.

    Rhoda!
This looks like the quintessential holiday magazine/book to own! I am changing things up a bit this year due to the fact that we are planning a move to downsize and I have packed away many of my Christmas
decor items and taken them to storage!! Will still decorate in the traditional colors but using a lot less items than in previous years!!

    Thanks for another fun giveaway!

I would love to get inspiration because I’m a lover of pink and have always wanted a pink tree with all the trimmings. I think that would be Pinktastic!

all my “stuff” is down from the attic, the kids and grands helped get it down yesterday, my adult kids want my house to be like it “always” was. I am giving away to the church thrift store a lot of it. walk around room in the attic. my village takes up the whole dining room. now to get it out of the boxes.

I’m starting with a clean slate- I’ve started the “clean and purge” of the house- going to hit every drawer and closet!

I need this book to get inspired for the holidays. It’s been a rough year for my me and my husband and I haven’t even thought about decorating yet. I’m sure this would help get me motivated.
