Feature Friday: Marc’s Christmas House Tour!

It’s been 7 years since I shared my sister’s former neighbor, Marc’s so pretty Christmas home. He has since moved away from this home, but he has another home to decorate this year and I’m very happy for him. So today I’m going to share his gorgeously decorated Southern Traditional home with you again. You’ll notice that I featured him almost 10 years ago and if you want to go back and look at all 3 of those posts, it’s a feast for the eyes. Enjoy and get inspired for your own Christmas decor.

******************************************

You might remember that 2 years ago, I featured my sister’s neighbor, Marc’s beautiful Christmas house.  I took so many pics, I did it in 3 parts, so you can find them here:  Part 1, Part 2, Part 3 if you want to take a look at those.

He’s a designer here in the area and has wonderful taste and decorating abilities and you all LOVED his house tour then.  He’s made a few changes in his décor (as most who love Christmas decorating as much as Marc and my sister do) and so I went back to take a few updates this year. I know you’ll enjoy it all over again, so please be inspired by Marc’s Christmas home, all decked out for Christmas.  I didn’t take nearly as many pics this time, but you can imagine that it was just as decorated this year as back then.

Now, mind you, Marc and my sister are two peas in a pod. They decorate most every room in the house with something Christmas, much more than I do at my house. I certainly don’t begrudge them in their holiday festivities and while I don’t envy them packing it up and putting it all back away, it is a feast for the eyes.

Enjoy! I’m not going to narrate every pic, but will just put them up for you to browse and enjoy.  You can find Marc on Facebook for more information.

I love that there is COLOR everywhere!!! While I am huge fan of neutrals, a whole house of them is boring to me….this is truly fun to look at and see that many colors are Christmas colors in this house! Love the blues right along with the reds. Fun touches everywhere too. I so appreciate this tour!

Marc’s house is so magical – I would be like a kid in a candy store walking through it! I love all the Christmas decorations but my most favorite was the master bathroom rug – it just what I have invisioned for ours – would love to know where in the world he found it! It’s spectacular!!!

The rug was purchased at garden Ridge, believe it or not, it is 100per cent wool and was pricey for .garden Ridge but perfect for my bath!

Decorated is right! Wow!!! I, too love the pinecone bedding and the bedhangings are gorgeous. I think I like the LR with the fireplace the best; it’s so cozy. I am more of a minimalist, but probably because I’m lazy. Your house reminds me of my Mom’s at Xmas. All her French friends used to run around snapping pictures while exclaiming, “Country Living! Country Living!” I wish I had all her charming antique decorations, but I’ve at least tried to make sure I have a Xmas tree with popcorn and old-fashioned things to remind me of those times.
Thanks for sharing your home Marc and thank you Rhoda for thingk to do so.

Just gorgeous! I was really getting burned out with all the blogs Christmas tours and almost didn’t look at Marc’s. SO glad I did! It’s beautifully done, so much to see. I would really like to see a tour of his home after the holidays. Thanks for sharing this.
